PLANS to build a state-of-the-art library next to Republican catastrophe Sarah Palin are causing outrage across mainstream America.

Almost 40% of Americans still support the idea of books
Campaigners have described the project as insensitive and a deliberate act of provocation by people with brains.

The issue is forming a dividing line in advance of November's mid-term congressional elections with candidates being forced to declare whether they have ever been to a library or spoken to someone who has books in their home.

Meanwhile President Obama has caused unease within his own Democratic party by endorsing the library and claiming that not everyone who reads books is responsible for calling Mrs Palin a @!$%#wit nutjob nightmare of a human being.

But Bill McKay, a leading member of the right-wing Teapot movement, said: "Sarah Palin is a hallowed place for Americans who can't read.

Leave it to the Brits to come up with the perfect satire of our 'mosque mish-mash'; satire at its best.

This library has the biggest childrens section in the world which features fables, myths and comic book heros.

Sarah Palin would use a library. She could borrow books to prop up the furniture when necessary. Or use the pages to wrap the fish she and Todd catch.

    See? Books is good.

Sarah knows what a libary is...but she's afraid to go in one because there are a lot of big scary words in this book they call a dicktionary...and..and...there are all these shelves with these really big books...and she has trouble focusing on the books because she'd like to take notes...and she only has two hands..and ... she just stays out of them...'cause it's scary.

And if anyone catches her visiting her book in the library, don't be asking her what other books she reads.

OMG this is hilarious. I just have one criticism:

    Teapot movement

It's called the teabag or teabagger movement.

Actually, it's kinda fitting for how much of a tempest in a teapot they've been, lol.

The funny thing about the teabaggers is that only immigrants and a few hipster liberals in the US drink actual tea anymore. Aside from a bit of iced tea in the summer, coffee is our thing now.

I think it was ill fated from the gate.

    1. They fancied themselves like the tea tax protesters when they weren't protesting any taxes but rather health care reform.

    2. They inadvertently solicit the nickname of teabaggers, although it has been legitimized now by its addition in the dictionary to mean protesters of the Obama administration.

    3. They follow corporate sock puppet Brother Beck to their doom, being anything but a grassroots movement, by marching on Washington with wild and incoherent signs that drove off anyone's sincere interest or ability to take them seriously. Any wonder no one answered them?

    4. With Palin as their sometimes on, sometimes off queen, they can't organize long enough to do anything but sue each other!

    5. So it comes as no surprise they've served to help suppress Republicans and give a hand to Democrats that otherwise might have lost.

I can see why they are frustrated but a long look in the mirror is warranted. But I wouldn't be so sure about tea's limited appeal. I live in the south and it is a staple here.

Oh I know they act like just because their specific political ideology got creamed in the last election that somehow means they're being taxed without being represented, which is what the actual Boston tea party was about. I seriously just want to slap every one of them and remind them that there are going to be more elections, and if they don't act too bat@!$%# crazy and alienate too many people they might even win a few.

Considering their gun toting propensities, I would not recommend slapping. It is pretty ridiculous that they think they are the only ones put out here. I am advised by a few unusually aware teabagger friends that most in the movement are so seriously buried in an alternate reality that we should give zero chance of them hitting a bottom and waking up.
